If your client is moving out of your area, you can refer them to a trusted agent in that location and earn a referral fee—usually 25%–35% of the commission.■ Can I accept leads from other states?Yes, you can sign up to get leads sent your way. Once you accept, you handle the client and pay the referring agent a fee when the deal closes.■ Are there rules around referrals?Absolutely. Both agents must hold valid real estate licenses in their respective states, disclose referral arrangements to clients, and have brokers or licensed agents involved for everything to be legit and compliant.For Buyers & Sellers
